Further research and characters

On my 1 and a half days off (I was ill, not bunking) I spent some time watching and finding examples of more pyschological horror movie openings.




First I watched Secret Window (which i mentioned in the last blog)because it is very similar to what I'm going to make

The Strangers
Saw 1
and
The Eye.

From there I built a basic structure for this genre. It involves a lot of suspense and also builds on people's fears, like small spaces, mirrors and the dark.

I decided on the character that will appear in my 2 minute opening scene.
Here's the list:

Main Girl (central to plot)
Her other personality and murderer
Mother
Father

I will do the filming and editing, and will be filming at the weekend and on Monday.
So there will be making of clips soon.
